This business should be receiving no stars, even one is to much. My entire experience with them was terrible and still I am facing issues with them till this day. It started last year on September 2024, they had a guy claiming to be the gym's coach and advised me that he will assist me on training if I had a membership at the gym. I payed the membership fee but they gave me no papers to sign as gyms normally should. After I payed the membership fee, the guy(coach) told me that his fees would be R2 600 after our first section (none of this was discussed till the very end). I explained to him that I could not afford his fees. From the 29 October 2024, till the 31 October 2024, I have sent different breed gym, Witbank, numerous email (***) asking them to cancel my gym membership because of the miscommunication with the coach. Their first reply was sent back on the 1 November 2025, in the email stated that they will forward everything to the manager of Different breed gym, Witbank, and that they will get it sorted. I have not heard back from them for the entire November month 2024 and when I called their company number - ***, they kept putting me straight to voicemail, within the November month 2024, they took R400 from my account, without replaying my calls or emails regarding cancelation. I got the manager's number (Alecia Van Kraayenburg - ***) I called her, but there was no response, I then sent her numerous WhatsApps, but was left unanswered on all of them, 3-4 December 2024. She forwarded my complaints to the receptionist at Different Breed gym, Witbank, for him to work as a middle man, for the reason that she did not want to work with the client of her own business. This led to nothing being resolved, as the receptionist finial called me, he stated that I should pay a cancelation fee of R3 600. His direct work are as following: "There is a cancelation process, so whenever you decide to cancel, then there will be a fee of 60% cancelation price from the remaining payment that is left. You need to pay R2 160.00". If you look back, I stated that there where no contract or previous communication provided to agree with their terms. Different Breed Gym, Witbank and I has been going on like this till now. I tried talking to them nicely, I went in to talk to the manager face to face to resolve this but whenever I came in, The manager is always busy or not there, I got angry, I begged and pleaded but every month till then, they kept on taking R400.00 every month. On February 2025, I was forced to block Different Breed Gym, Witbank, through APSA as there was no other way. At the end of February 2025, they had the audacity to contact one of my family members, (I never provided them with any of my family's information) and tell them I own them money. So to prevent me form being "black listed" as they threatened, that family member payed the amount that was due without my knowledge. You would thing everything is sorted but no. Yesterday 3 May 2025, Different Breed gym, Witbank, took R400.00 again and this time not even on the same date as they always had from last month October 2024 till now, they have already took approximately R15 600 from me, I am 21 Years old and work for my own money, I want to put a stop to them before they do this to someone again in the future. I am tired in trying to talk with them and come to a conclusion as the managers, or owners, does not want to fix their own problems. I am here and desperate for someone to help me with them.
