Over charged and given incorrect part

<p>I called in on the 19th July and spoke to Abdul from Diesel Electric on Nandi Drive. He asked for the first 3 letters of the engine number , which I gave him as AMF and told the model and make of vehicle. I was quoted R1650 plus VAT = R1881. When I got there yesterday I asked Abdul to confirm it was the correct part as he already printed the reciept before I got there. When he double checked he realised he quoted me for a petrol car when mine is a diesel and the correct part was R2300. And in his book he had written R1650 plus Vat n circled it with my name. The other sales consultant even agreed that he quoted me R1650 and that's the price I should pay. But Abdul refused and told me I am lying and that he quoted me R 2000. </p>
