Diana Casting Agency Cheats Aspiring Actors

<p>Diana Casting Agency's so called "CFO", Jorrison, gets inattentive pupils to register with his company for a fee ranging from R200 to R400 so that they can be casted as extras on soapies to music videos. Pupils were recently told to commute to SABC to be extras on the hit Soapie, Generations, on the 3rd of October 2016, with time slots that kept changing every day. The shoot then got postponed to Wednesday 5th October 2016, upon arrival, the Generations Coordinator informed the booked extras that Generations was not shooting the entire week. After contacting Jorrison, he then told the aspiring actors that they are booked again for the 10th October, again with conflicting time slots. On Monday the 10th of October, a few hours prior, the shoot was moved to Wednesday the 12th of October at short notice. Thus on this day, 10th October 2016, a group of extras were informed that only “light skin” girls are booked for this week and “dark skin” pupils are booked the following week. Yet a fellow “light skin” pupil was told that she was added to the following weeks shoot, the “dark skin extras shoot”. This behaviour is utterly atrocious and not accepted! We call for immediate action from SABC’s Soapie, Generations before we take matters into our own hands!</p>
