unfair treatment
A customer of dial direct knocks into my car, its written off according to the insurance company. Dial Direct offers to pay me R10 000 for my car on the basis that in their opinion the market value is R15 000. This is a 1991 Opel superboss, limited edition and highly sought after. Someone find me a superboss that I can buy for R15 000. Not only that, I have a valid claim on the replacement value of my car, not the market value. I rejected the offer of R10 000 and will now be going to court. Another prime example of an insurance company *****ing from people.

after initially receiving rather generic thoughtless service, the service provided after I wrote this complaint was a bit more reasonable and considered and I was happy with the settlement reached.
