Thirdparty nightmares

A client of dial direct caused an accident which seemingly rendered my car beyond repairs. I was i formed that my claim is depended on the main members claim and according to communication third party claim would take 30days to be concluded. The main members claim had since been approved and paid as per the agreement between both parties, note that I only found out about this with constant calling and emailing Koketso Rapola (who isn’t pleasantly responsive and very vague when she responds). I was requested to produce an Accident Report which I had to pay R320 for because the claim wouldn’t proceed without it, keep in mind they the main member had informed me that to for his claim to proceed they needed the case number which I provided and this isn’t puzzling as to why they would need to full report in my claim it “clearly” wasn’t important in the main members claim.

I then produced the accident report and Koketso keeps on informing me that it is a high quantum claim thus managers (who may be on vacation seeing the lack of urgency with settling this matter) would need to approve it. Today marks the 36th day since I opened the case on the 29th of July 2019 (as advised by dial direct consultant).

I use the car as my mode of transportation daily and leave in an area which doesn’t have a high influx of transportation, my work requires that i attend meetings which are always not area of work. Moreover, I spend approximately 6hrs daily to commute to work for a trip which could easily take less than 2hrs daily( this excludes instances where I would need to attend meeting or trainings off site). I struggle to get to school on Saturdays and I hardly see my daughter since I can talk just drive there and spend so much time on the road.

It is irritating that I am experiencing so much hardship while I was not in the wrong and the person who was wrong has moved on and Dialdirect could not be bothered. Lastly, I am still paying my monthly installments meaning hiring a car isn’t an option. It’s not just about the car, you affecting our livelihoods, career, education and relationships/family.

This needs to get sorted ASAP
