***** INSURANCE
Second Complaint!!! This company are robbing honest people. People who think that there is actually an insurance company for the people JUST until you want to claim. First an excess ff R9600.00 now the car we were told is going to be written off. Damage of an APPARENT R26000.00 by your assessor and a market value of R41000.00. No other quotes where brought into consideration. After numerous calls to your call-centre speaking to numerous call-centre agents you do not get CLEAR INFORMATION. Are they just lazy or do they know of you ******** people that they just don't care. I am totally frustrated and my father on the verge of breakdown after being such a loyal payer. You guys should stop with your false providence and stop wanting to OUT people of their hard earned money. I wish there is a proper way that I could expose you for what you are!
We acknowledge receipt of your complaint.
With regards to the excess, we have accepted the policy holder's argument regarding the excess and have therefore app**** the original excess. You were informed accordingly and we therefore consider the matter resolved.
Our assessing department conducted an assessment to the insured vehicle and found that the damages to the vehicle exceeded 70% of the insured value. When the damages to a vehicle exceed 70% of the insured value, the vehicle is considered to be uneconomical to be repaired and is then classified as a write-off.
We have attempted to contact you upon receipt of this matter but could not reach you on the contact number that was provided. We have also noted that our claims department is still busy with the administration of the claim, once the claim is finalised we will be in contact with you/the policy holder to discuss the way going forward.
We trust the above gives more clarity on the matter.
Kind regards,
The Dialdirect Team
