Since when is 3 hours emergency 'assistance'?

Absolutely disgusted with Dialdirect Insurance . Was left stranded for 2.5 hours after calling 'emergency roadside assistance'. I called after 90 minutes and was told oh no system is down. No one has been dispatched . Eventually a stranger on a bicycle helped me. Now I'm a big guy and was in a relatively 'safe' environment but what if it was my wife in the same car in a bad area? Am I supposed to accept that 2.5 hours next to the road is ok?

Not once did your agents follow up with me. I had to keep calling them...
