Scratches and Dent Claim Rejected

I took out a scratches and dent cover last year in Jul with Dial Direct unfortunately I scratched my car (Mazda 2) in Dec and filed a claim this year in Jan like two weeks ago. It is a tiny scratch and a dent that is not visible from far, I have attached the pictures. Apparently the dealer quoted me R13k and I am only covered for R5k so rejected my claim. With such a small scratch? I even suggested that they send the pictures to an alternative dealer but No apparently they only quote you once, really? So I have been donating with my money for all those 6 months? or is the pay out related to the tenure? Please help me understand!
