Refusal to Cancel & Provide Information

I took up cover with Dial Direct and was very happy, not knowing that when it comes to the TCF outcomes they will fail decimally to deliver, I had my vehicle written off, called to cancel the cover on same, was advised that the debit order has already been put on a magtape and a Pro-rata refund of premium would be effected, this was in June, to date nothing, i've had to make four calls for the same issue, today I was told by Thato that no such refund will be due to myself, that they don't consider the date of cancellation since their contracts run from month to month. Additionally, he also promised to send the confirmation of cancellation, which he has not, I requested contact details for their complaints department and same were refused to me, for the second time today, I requested OSTI Complaints details and was advised I would get those on documentation to follow and yet dololo, still waiting, its said to see that the major insurers are still taking advantage of their clients this way, not refunding monies due back to clients, not cancelling when requested to do so, holding client's at ransom with clauses not advised at sales point. Yet the very same people urge us to buy "Peace of Mind", its more like spending your own money to buy more troubles, the lack of responsible advisers is alarming
