Refund unpaid

I cancelled the short term car insurance policy on the 3rd September 2021 and the call centre agent informed me that the funds that were debited from my bank account would be refunded but to date I have not received any refund. I am covered by another insurance company, so I am wondering if Dial direct does not realise it is equivalent to ***** if I am covered by two companies for the same product.
