******S, ***** AND DISHONEST INSURERS

This is the worst form of an insurer and possibly ****** and *******. My employer have had to retrench 21 drivers and 42 crewmen effective from end of June 2019 because we lost a very big contract as a result of being blacklisted for non-existent dishonesty claim by Dial Direct.

One of our company vehicles insured by this company was involved in an accident while driven by our erstwhile employee who as a result of complications allegedly associated with the accident died (may her soul rest in peace). The insurance repudiated a claim saying that had they known that the company owner didn't have a drivers license by the time of the cover, they would not have insured the vehicle or would have insured it differently. What is strange is that the car is insured to be driven by any licensed driver. They allege that the company owner was driving the vehicle whereas that is not the case. They are only doing this to avoid responsibility.

This has affected all vehicles under care of our company on contract with mines and ultimately resulting in loss of employment. This is obviously in my view race related than anything. I am likely to loose my employment if this matter is not resolved ASAP and the ombudsman is taking ages to resolve this.

They have refused to give the company anything re**** on in arriving at the decision to repudiate a claim and are very arrogant because they can afford to litigate and I think they do this to a lot of small black businesses.

One thing they should know is that my boss is a very intelligent and powerful and respected person in society and is likely to sue them for millions he is continuing to loose monthly as a result of his company being blacklisted by them.

Hello.

As discussed; the matter is currently with the Ombudsman for Short Term Insurance but we will follow up with the Ombudsman as we understand the urgency.
