Poor Repair by Dial Direct panelbeaters - Brooklyn Motor Lab

Dialdirect took my car to Brooklyn Motor Lab on 2 July 2016. I only got my car back on 10 November 2016. It has taken the panelbeater 5 months to fix my car. My car went in for the installation of airbags. The panelbeater has done a very shocking job in my car.

1. The car has not been properly assembed inside

2. The passenger side door has not been clipped in properly that you can see the wiring inside the car

3. The gear and handbreak console has not been clipped in properly, you can also see the wiring inside the car

4. The leather detail has small cuts which will strech wider along with time

5. The cigarette lighter cover no longer clips in

6. The sun screen on the driver's side is broken

7. The cover between the roof and the dashboard is lose (let alone dirty with oil and fingerprints)

8. The seatbelt on the driver's side was installed so poorly that it changes the aesthetics of the car inside. It does not look professional compared to the one on the passenger's side

9. The inside of the car has oil and fingerprints everywhere it got touched

10. My seats and dashboard are sun burnt because the car had been parked in the sun for 5 months at the panelbeaters.

11. The exterior of my car is also sun burnt because the car was parked outside

12. There is a scratch on the body of my car

13. When my car was taken to the panelbeaters, it had over 300km worth of petrol. The panelbeaters gave it back with 12km worth of petrol.

My car was only 12 months old when it went to the panelbeaters with 20 000 KM on the clock. Now it looks like a second hand car that is 5 years old. I still owe the bank R450 000 on the car but because of the way it looks the value has gone down significantly.

I do not want anything to do with Dialdirect. They use cheap panelbeaters that in the end, it is us who suffer. As long as they get their premiums they are happy.

I am paying Dialdirect over R2000 per month for my premiums and yet they send my car to backyard mechanics.

I am going to cancel my policy with Dialdirect, including my Life Policy. I am going to send complaints on Facebook, Bad Service SA, and all other service complaints sites. I will also lobby all my friends and family members to boycott Dialdirect by withdrawing their insurance policies. The entire Telesure Group is a *******. I have been with Dialdirect since April 2012, which means that I have paid them over R110 000 worth of premiums. Today I will stop being a loyal customer. Now it is the time to look to other insurers. Loyalty obviously does not get you anywhere. Instead loyalty gets you abused by greedy insurers who are only interested in your money which is very hard earned. They will do anything to win you as a customer, but once they've got you, they will reveal the monsters that they are.

Outsurance seems to be the better insurance company after all.

Good bye Dialdurect. I hope your business suffers and that you lose customers to a point of liquidation.
