I have been insured with dial direct on my iPhone 5. My insurance cost me R216 per month which covered me for a sum of R8500. Which is already much steeper and covers me for less than anyone else I've spoken to. This isn't my gripe however. In the beginning of August my handset was ******. I submitted my claim and it was approved within two weeks. I was told my excess I would have to pay was R1400, as well as a betterment of R700 for the handset I wanted as mine had been discontinued. I paid these fees. I was then told that my policy had been outsourced to company called admin plus and that I should dial them directly for any further enquiries. They then informed me that their supplier didn't have any stock of the phone I had selected either. They then presented me with a list of phones that were all overpriced. After arranging with them to source my own handset from the supplier of my choice. I arranged with the supplier, paid the difference in price for the handset I chose, and I have been waiting on them to pay the supplier ever since. I am still waiting.
