On 18 April, I requested a debit order change from 25th to 30th because of changed salary date, Tashveerr Veerasamy confirmed that this had been done satisfactorily and that the debot order would be effected 29th April.

On the 25th, the debit went through and bounced back because of insufficient funds and there was a bank charge of R150 on my account. I was given an excuse that maybe its cause the date fell on weekend or public holiday, but if that was the case, then it should have gone of 28th.

Now i am receiving automated mesages saying because my debit order didnt go off on the 25th (wrong date by the way), I am not covered because since then, this has still not been rectified. Which means I am not covered. Logically, I should just get new cover with someone else today.

As discussed we can confirm that your normal deduction date was set for the last day of the month as requested. We have also arranged for your May premium to be deducted without further delay.
We can further confirm that a refund for the bank charges which you incurred was authorised.
