Household Cover- Result of claim
Dear Sir/Madam,

I have been with Dial direct for many years and I pay in total R3000 p/m for all my policies with them. When I took out my household cover I asked repeatedly what my household policy does and does not cover. I specified portable items that I wanted specifically covered.

I made a claim when I slipped and items in my possession (that do not leave my house) were damaged and after claiming was rejected as these were classified as portable unspecified and not covered. I do have a R4000 non-specified portable but was totally rejected. I do not like this grey area as to what you regard as covered and not.

I had asked upfront and was given assured it was not necessary to do a total inventory. I do not appreciate a service provider that sells false offerings. If I needed it I would have added it, it is not clear in your terms in conditions or in your policy.

Long story short, if a consultant does call me to amend my policy and a full clear understanding be made of what is covered/not covered be done I will cancel this policy. I do not want to do business with a company that stacks the cards in his favour

Best Regards,
Rinay
