Highly Disappointed and parting ways after being a client for TWENTY YEARS

Dial Direct charges me over R850.00 per month for a Hyundai Accent 2008 where my son is the regular driver. He is now over 25 and had his licence for over 5 years. They REFUSE to bring down his premium. I have been a loyal customer to them since 2006. I received an independent quote from them with exactly the same details and they quote me R400.00 per month as a new sign up. WOW Dial Direct. You now force me to part ways with you after 20 years because of your refusal to charge me a decent rate.

Hi Sybil,

We would like to sincerely apologise for the frustration and disappointment you’ve experienced regarding your insurance premium.

We truly value your loyalty since 2006, and it is deeply concerning to hear that after nearly 20 years with us, you feel unheard and unfairly treated. We understand why the current premium feels unreasonable, especially given your long-standing relationship with us.

It is particularly troubling to note the significant discrepancy between your existing premium and the new quotation you received with identical details. This is not the level of consistency or transparency we aim to provide, and we completely understand how this would lead to a loss of trust.
Please accept our sincere apologies for the inconvenience and frustration caused. Your feedback is important and highlights where we need to do better.

We would greatly appreciate the opportunity to review your policy in detail and resolve this matter fairly. Losing a valued client of your tenure is not something we take lightly.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention and for your years of support.

Kind regards,
The Dial Direct team
