Have been billed for a vehicle that I no longer h

I sold my vehicle in October 2015.
I notified dial direct of the turn of events by email but still my account was debited for November. I called dial direct to request a refund and was told the refund would be processed as soon as i sent them a settlement or proof of sale. I sent the settlement letter to them now I am required to provide proof of sale???How ridiculous is that . No one asked for proof of purchase when I was buying the vehicle . My account has been further debited in December after explicitly telling them I no longer have the vehicle???
How ridiculous is that ?? All this passing the buck and asking for endless documents is seriously annoying.
