Harassment and lack of accountablity

On the 29 January 2016 I was involved in an accident that was not my fault. The other party was at a stop street and while I was on the main road she turned into me. The other party is insured by Dial Direct and I at the time was uninsured. I contacted the dial direct claims department, was given a claim number and advised to go to the assessment centre. Soon ther after I started recieving threatening phone calls from the insurance company telling me that I must pay their clients damages. On the 21 February (the same day my car went to the assessment centre) I emailed all the documents to them including a photograph of the damages, a description and drawing of the accident, and a certified witness statement . During the month of March, numerous emails and phone calls to dial direct were sent and the harassing phone calls came to an end at the begining of April. Since then I have been stonewalled and any communication to the insurance company has been ignored except on the 19 May I did recieve a reply to an email stating that the client was rejecting my version of events and he admitted that my version made sense and was in line with the damages to both vehicles. I have subsequently requested a name or number of someone that I can take this up with but my request has been ignored. The latest attempt was on the 6 July and I still havent heard anything despite reminders from me. It has been 6 months and this has still not been resolved and I have also not recieved any official communication from Dial direct advising that my claim has been rejected. On contacting the insurance ombudsman I was advised that they do not deal with any third party issues and that I should maybe go to the small claims court which would not even begin to cover my costs.
