Good luck trying to cancel your insurance policy with Dial Direct

Have been insured with Dial Direct for more than ten years. This month I obtained a better quote from an alternative insurance company for my house contents and decided to cancel the policy with Dial Direct.

I instructed them to cancel the policy on 13 December 2023. I have phoned them 5 times, spoken to 5 different staff members, emailed the dispute resolution department twice and tried to cancel on line without success. Despite being given assurances by DialDirect staff that the policy has been cancelled it is still active I have also been assured that the cancellation would be confirmed by emailed have received nothing to date
