Gold diggers

I have had good service from dial direct, and never had a claim for 2 years. When I needed roadside assistance they were quick to help. However I acquired a new car and got different insurance at a better price from another company. As with any insurance, you pay in advance for the month ahead. I paid my premium for the month ahead and cancelled the insurance half way through the month that's been paid for. When cancelling my insurance I was told I have to pay them for the first half of the month the car was insured for. Pro rata. So if you paid in advance, how can you owe them money you at least gave in advance? I would not recommend any one to use them. They offer good service (if you don't claim), But once you cancel they try to empty your pockets of money they already got.
