Duplicate car insurance

I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding a serious issue with my policy. I have been quoted and issued two separate policies for the same vehicle, under different policy numbers. This appears to be a clear administrative error on your part.

I have called your office multiple times over the past several days, and during each call, I was assured that one of the policies would be cancelled immediately. However, as of today, 13 June, the duplicate policy is still active on your app, and I have not received any formal cancellation confirmation or paperwork. I am extremely concerned that this delay is intentional and that you may attempt to debit my account again tomorrow, 14 June, for a policy that I have explicitly requested to be cancelled multiple times.

This ongoing lack of action is unacceptable and has caused unnecessary stress and inconvenience. I request that you: Immediately cancel the duplicate policy. Send me written confirmation of the cancellation today. Ensure that no debits are made for the cancelled policy. Provide a written explanation for why this issue was not resolved after multiple requests. If this matter is not resolved by close of business today, I will be forced to escalate the issue to the Ombudsman for Short-Term Insurance and consider lodging a formal dispute regarding any unauthorized debit orders.

I trust that you will treat this matter with the urgency it deserves.
