Don't trust these people
I just cancelled my policy because one year ago I said if this company tries their shady annual increase practices with me again then I'd cancel. For the past four years, on the dot, they have increased my policy premiums by 25%, despite me being a model, claim-free client of theirs for many years. This is way above what can be considered reasonable. Every time I have had to phone them and negotiate them down, and every time I have ended up paying less than the existing premium. My point is that I shouldn't have to do this. And even after I flagged this with them they still go and do it again. I don't think I'm the only one. Is this in the hopes that people won't notice? A way to sucker people? Whichever way you look at it, it's poor form, and shady as hell. I deserve more respect than that, therefore I have chosen to go with an insurer who doesn't treat me like an idiot. Good riddance!
Thank you for sharing your feedback with us.
We are sorry to hear that you feel this way about the annual premium increases. As per our contract, a review of the policy happens annually, which may result in adjustments to the premium.
Please note that clients do have the option to reduce their premiums if any discounts are available at the time of the review
Kind regards,

Thank you for your expected corporate response. You have completely failed to acknowledge any wrongdoing on your part, which is why I have cancelled my policy and urge others to do the same. If you can give me ONE compelling reason why an annual premium increase of 25% is in any way reasonable or justified, considering the book value of my vehicle has decreased and therefore I should be paying LESS, not more, then I may listen to you.
Until then, you remain a sneaky, shady company.
