Distraught
I have been following up with a claim since the 6th January 2020 (accident occured 20th December 2019 ) as I was informed that all repair centres would be closed over the festive period. Your *********** consultants informed me that my car would be going to the repair centre (Renew-it - in greenstone) on the 10th January 2020 and that repair would take another 10-15 working days once they received parts, not fully explaining the entire process. Yesterday I received an email from renew it stating that they only received the car yesterday. I decided to give them a call and was told by the lady there that the car is going for a secondary inspection and could take 7 days. then only will they order parts ,which could take another 10-15 working days . So that means I should expect my car in February... to simply replace a gearbox sump cover . Had I known this would be the outcome, and you send peoples' cars to useless repairers (who give no feedback at all) .... I would never have claimed nor switched to dial direct. Anyways i'm on the phone with other insurers and hope you're happy that you have inconvenienced me for a month and will continue to inconvenience for another month, and maybe even more time than that . Thanks
