The unexpected switch to level 4 load shedding affrected my laptop and tv. Dial direct appointed Assess Tech Consultants who he came and took those items away. To my horror my TV and laptop were wrapped in those doggie blankets and transported to the assessors in Benoni and i live in Pretoria... This was done in an open 1400 bakkie, no canopy, no bubblewrap, no sponge underneath, nothing.... . I have raised my concerns of the manner in which it was fetched to the dialdirect consultant.
Three days later, I received the outcome, that the items were not damaged by the power surge and will be sent back to me, claim denied, really Dialdirect, all of this from a company that transports electronic goods in an open bakkiie... What about the bumps, pot holles, heat etc... Yo top it of, there was also pictures of my tv and laptop stripped down.
Would i trust the feedback from a company that cannot arrange appropriate transport of items that belongs to someone else? We read about the problems we had and it all points to power surge.
So now after all this my claim is rejected and i still haven't received my goods... My worry is what condition will they return and what if my possessions incurred other damage in all his horrific ordeal.
Dialdirect, you call me your valued client, yet you leave irresponsible company's to make reports for your decision and with my valuables.
I would like to know if Dial Direct can be certain that no damage occurred during the transportation and stripping down session, and what about the return trip "possible damage"
I have always held high regards for Dialdirect. Today i realised that me as a client, am not important enough for them to ensure my goods are taken care of, whether the claim is accepted or not.
Best regards,
