Dial Direct: What a disappointment

I wish I had read the hellopeter reviews before trusting Dial Direct with my insurance. It's been almost a months since my accident, and my vehicle still hasn't been towed in for repairs. I keep hearing promises, I keep hearing it should be finalized or authorized within 48 hours. I keep holding and holding and holding to be put through to someone who is supposed to assist me. Meanwhile, I'm renting a car at my own expense. Who knows when I'll receive my car back? Next month? In three months' time? Six months? A year? I've spoken to countless consultants, the legal department, the repairs department. I've wasted hours and hours and hours to follow up; Dial Direct doesn't make the effort to phone you to keep you updated. Not ever. I've never experienced such service before. I'll rather pay a higher premium to an insurer that actually gets things done. Dial Direct has been a huge disappointment. Stay away!
