DIAL DIRECT (DIRECT CHEATS) - BADDEST SERVICE I HAVE EVER RECEIVED . DISAPPOINTED ME 3 TIMES I A ROW

1st disappointment -I bought a car in November 2017 and joined dial direct. I had arranged with them to debit their premiums on a certain date and they didn’t keep to the arrangement we made. That led me into incurring bank charges because the debit orders didn’t go through.

2nd disappointment – I was involved in a car accident 2 months later and I was hospitalized. While I was s in the ambulance some guy came to me with his phone and said dial direct was on the line to tell me that they can tow my car. I disagreed and told them to rather wait for my mother as I was not in the right state to give them the go ahead. 2 Hours later I was discharged and went to the scene with my family. The tow truck had already lifted my car ( the guy I had said shouldn’t ) , my mom told him to offload my car and wait for dial directs approval. She then called their line (***) and spoke to them asking if my car was covered and who will tow the car. Dial direct gave authority to the guy I had told not to take my car, so my car was towed.

3 days later on a Monday I call dial direct and ask them how ae things regarding my car , dial direct had no idea what I was talking about and disputed the fact that my mom called them 3 times the Friday of the accident. I told them who towed my car and they said they never authorized those people to tow my car because they are not under their list. I was told to pay 3000 to the towing guys so they could go fetch my car, I refused and asked them to trace my mom’s calls. They called 2 days later to inform me that my mom never called there are no records. Mom and I went to Vodacom and we got a script that indicates that we did call and we too screen munches on my mom’s phone showing outgoing calls to them. After that they paid the tow guy and fetched my car. 2 days later I call to find out how are things are and I was told that my car is still on its way to the panel beaters, it was delivered to the auction yard by mistake. A day later I was called and told my car is a write off and it would cost the R135 000 to fix the door and the bumper of the car. As emotional as I was I accepted the ruling and looked for another car. I didn’t get any medical compensation as they had asked me for proof.

3rd Disappointment- A day or 2 after they had told me that my car was a write off , my fiancé googled another car for me and out popped my car. The exact registration number and everything and the car is fixed and sold for R144 000.

NEVER AGAIN WILL I UTILISE THEIR SERVICE. I WAS TREATED UNFAIRLY BY THIS BRAND –THEIR MANAGEMENT SHOULD MAKE USE OF THE TCF (TREAT CUSTOMERS FAIRLY) PRINCIPLE.

I AM DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
