Dial-direct autioned our car without our concern

My daughter had a minor accident on the 30 Jan 2022, literally lost a bumper. We called dialdirect insurance which signed off the towing truck. After nagging them they responded and said the car is written off. We chose and option of fixing the car ourselves & asked for our car back. This is 15 March 2022 we still don't know where our car is, the last we update we received from the storage was the car was auctioned.
