Cancellation of policy

I recently submitted a claim and was approved. Accident was caused by a 3rd party. Car was repaired and was highly satisfied with Dail Direct like always. However i do admit I state the incorrect driver but neverless my wife is also covered the same as me. So in my opinion it didnt matter who was driving. The 3rd party received the bill for damages and he then made a statement to my insurance that the driver was my wife. My insurer confronted me and I told then everything. They just cancelled my insurance there and then without any proper reason. I feel i got treated unfairly here as I didnt cause the accident. If i caused it then yes I agree i deserved to get my insurance cancelled but I was innocent. I also believe the claim would still have the same outcome regardless who I reported was the driver. I tried to dispute my cancelation but i just got feedback its final without even speaking to me or to discuss the sitution. I still believe i dont deserve to get my policy cancelled and believe its pathatic service/response I received
