In November 2017 my car was in a accident and written off, I was insured by Dial Direct. They paid the account at Nedbank (MFC) and paid me out the balance. They then proceeded to take possession of the vehicle. The person dealing with the towing, possession and admin was Mr. Luther Kekana. I never had possession of the vehicle after Dial Direct took possession off the car, they took it to a place in Brackenfell, Executive Towing. Now after 8 years I get a letter from the Department of Mobility in Western Cape about outstanding license fees on the car. After investigation, I found out that the car was paid off by Dial Direct and MFC did send the original registration documents to them as they are now the legal owners of the car. However they never took the car off my name or deregistered it as the car is still showed as Nedbank owned. I have tried to get hold of Dial Direct as the Traffic Department says Dial Direct must take me off on Natis as the registered owner. THE RESULT OF THIS EITHER INCOMPETENCE OR ***** ON DIAL DIRECT PART IS THAT I NOW HAVE A MARK AGAINST MY NAME AND CANNOT RENEW MY DRIVERS LISENCE. My next step is to open a ***** case as someone at Dial Direct or the person dealing with the case in 2017 took the car and documents.
