Brooklyn Motor Lab & Dial Direct - **** of the century

<p>Dialdirect chose an *********** panelbeater to fix my car.</p> <p>After 4 months, the *********** panelbeater has sent my car to the agent because the computer box was showing fault. </p> <p>The agent says the panelbeater missed a few things and now they have to order parts. The parts would take around 21 days to get delivered.</p> <p>Moral of the story:</p> <p>a) if you are insured with Dialdirect, they will take your car to Brooklyn Motor Lab</p> <p>b) Brooklyn Motor Lab will take 5 months to fix your car</p> <p>c)They will fail to fix it and send it to the OEM, which will take another month</p> <p>d) In the meantime, you are paying your premiums to Dialdirect.</p> <p>e) Will you get your premiums back? NO</p> <p> </p> <p>My car has taken almost half of 2016 to get fixed. Dialdirect should take over my installments with the bank and refund me my premiums. Or buy me a new car. That's why we get insured right.</p> <p> </p> <p>I am writing this because I need to formally lodge a complaint with the Ombudsman. They have sent me the forms, so I realised that Dialdirect first has to refuse my request before the Ombudsman can intervene.</p>
