Broken Windscreen wont be fixed

My car has been standing at the panelbeaters for over 3 months and now dial direct comes with an excuse that they will not fix the windscreen which was damaged during the accident because they say apparently it had chips which caused the windscreen to break during the impact of the accident. I will not accept this, I need proof of those chips that caused the windscreen to break, Dial Direct is taking advantage of their customers. I will not take back the car until the windscreen is fixed. This is not right, why now, for all the three months that the car has been sitting with the panelbeaters they never said anything, I will not accept the vehicle. Dial Direct can keep it and I will discuss this with the attorneys.
