Beware of Dial Direct so-called VAP products

Dial Direct has a service they call Value Added Product (VAP) which is said to cover Legal and Personal Injury matters. The service is so useless and is just a money collecting scheme for the insurance. Over the past year, my R205.38 has gone to waste. The company they are using called "Law For All" has come ladies that will be passing you around like a rugby ball before they finally tell you that what you need is not covered by your policy. What is worse is to be initially told that the matter you are raising is covered by your policy, andthat you must send documents "X, Y and Z". Then later you will be told.....by another agent that you are not covered and that they have a team of private attorneys they are working with which they can connect you with (TO PAY OUT OF YOUR OWN POCKET)! The eagerness in her voice when it came to that part made it clear that for such a recommendation, she gets something and that's on top of having repudiated the claim. If the company cannot assist in a maintenance matter where their client is being accused of not having paid despite having proof of payment records, then what else can the company help with? Even worse, they say they don't offer any physical assistance, everything is just telephonic, that is if they assist you at all. The lady that assisted me today is the worst insurance agent I have ever dealt with. All she wanted to do was to tell me a long list of "unfortunatelys" and was not even willing to hear what I had to say. She is bad news for the company! In any case I have gone on to cancel the useless cover, it's only a pity that it had just deducted last week, otherwise I would have exited immediately! Absolutely useless cover. Beware, it's just a financial ****!
