40% Increase in premiums

I received an email from DialDirect insurance about my annual premium increase.

Long to the short, My premium increased from R3848.50 to R5406.51.

That is an almost 41% increase with nil claims in the last year!

How do you justify that? I phoned their call centre and basically I was then offered a "discounted" premium of R5100.00. That is adding insult to the injury! That is no discount. It is still an R1100 increase!

I then requested them to cancel my policy as this is ridiculous. An hour later I receive an e-mail stating that I cancelled the policy because I cannot afford it anymore!!!!! Rest assured DialDirect - I CAN AFFORD IT BUT CHOOSE NOT TO BE A VICTIM OF YOUR ****!!!

I advise everyone to steer clear of this horrible company!
