Misleading and time wasting

I have been with Dial Direct for 5 years and have my home contents insurance. I lodged a claim a week back for theft and a guy calls me up saying he needs to come through and discuss the item ****** and take pictures of the place it was ****** from. I work daily and I am not home during office hours so I agreed to make an effort for somebody to be at home to facilitate his request. On Friday last week he arrived at the place. Interrogated the person who is my sister here on vacation and wanted to know what happened on the event even though she was only told buy me what happened briefly. He then proceeded to ask her questions about the claim as to who the items belong to and where it was kept and how it was ****** even though she was not the person to respond. She rep**** to the best of her knowledge and told him that is what she made of it and was told. He then proceeded to go into every single room within our house without notifying me the policy holder and took pictures of our items and cupboards and immediately then requested a detailed inventory list to be filled out. I have claimed many times on my policy and never have I been so deceived and poorly treated. He refused to explain why it is needed and when I sent an email through they refer me to remember the terms and conditions of the policy. This is unacceptable and ridiculous! Some items in the house do not belong there as they are for 2 guests here on holiday from Australia and also some items in our back room are for my brother while he is moving his house. Without asking the policy holder permission or even letting me know this is what he wanted to do he proceeded and if I now fill out the form and state the items do not belong to me then he will claim I am lying as he has pics of evidence? Shame on you Dial Direct for such poor attitude and service. I will be cancelling my policy immediately as there are better service providers out there willing to be more helpful and not deceiving as you are.
