Worst company to turn to for builders who assigned Visio du Leader and Reds Construction

Once bitten twice shy ...third time it’s your own fault. I had a simple braai built through Dial A contractor and the builder did his own thing and basically messed up my plan. When my plans were approved for the major home renovations I turned to Dial A contractor again, against my better judgement I gave them a go hoping that before my baby was born I would have her room done and the property liveable. Not to be and was probably never going to be. The first builder Reds Construction run by Ashley Hoffman basically sweet talked his way through the first 3 months before I caught on that he was dragging and delaying the project because of other projects which took priority which he himself admitted to in one of the voice recordings. The second builder Visio du Leader run by Granville du Plessis was then assigned after I had asked Dial a Contractor to stop Reds Construction , Ashley Hoffman from completing the work. Visio du Leader , Granville du Plessis then started finishing off the remainder of the work and then I realised that Visio du leader was then following the same trend as the first builder Reds Construction. He too had admitted to having more important contracts to mine …but I thought money was money but anyway. At this point I had already given out almost 80% of the funds and the project was now in month 5 (December) , this should been a 4 month project. And the building work was literally 90% done. Both builders Reds Construction ( Ashley Hoffman) and Visio du Leader (Granville du Plessis) had now been in breach of contract , signed and verbal. I was in constant contact with Dial A contractor , Theresa and she was assured by both builders they would finish on time ....every time they missed their mark...they assured her and myself they would meet the deadline ....and they missed the deadline ...and assured us ...and missed the deadline ...they assured us ...and missed the deadline ....and I lost interest in the empty promises ...but Theresa didn’t give up on them even when they kept stabbing the company in the back ...and each other. (note this was one contractor at a time giving the same stories to bamboozle the company) so the constant fight left me and my new born baby with no kitchen ...no kitchen sink to wash up the dishes /bottles...no kitchen counter ...I am still today living out of boxes and boxes for the cutlery and plates ...having to wash up dishes and cups in the bathroom by the toilet. And yes I have pictures to prove it ...emails to prove it ...voice recording to prove it.

Be aware that the contractors Dial A contractor assign to your project are not registered with the NHBRC or MBAWC. The 2 most important "useless to assist" organizations. And yes I have written proof of this investigation.

So I am writing this to make everyone aware that no matter how prepared you are to appoint a builder to your project and all precautions you take to safe guard yourself in trusting Dial A contractor to assist with the liaising with builders, they will not have your back in the end because all they worried about is the commission due to them from the money the builders get from your pocket. I have also since then taken a new direction in getting what’s owing to me and decided also to expose names and companies to Cape town’s not so informed, this is far from over.
