Disappointing service by Dial-a-Contractor

I used Dial-a-Contractor to ensure that I would not pick a company to do home improvement work for me where I would have no fall-back if something went wrong.

Unfortunately the company they referred to me, AGW Construction, did work that ended up being faulty, technically incorrect - and requiring urgent repairs. The fault in their work - and the delay in addressing and fixing it - has since caused damage in my property.

Nearly two weeks ago I advised Dial-a-Contractor of the problems I was having with work that AGW Construction did for me and they promised they would investigate the issue and get back to me. I have not had a response.

This is highly disappointing - a service provider who promises reliable referrals and then themselves does not delivery service.

While, this company has not responded to HelloPeter, it has responded to me in writing. The issue with AGW Construction has been acknowledged by AGW Construction and I have promised that they will do the relevant repairs once the rainy weather has ended and sufficient time can be allocated for the necessary drying period. Until such a time as the relevant repairs have successfully been implemented as well as the possible resulting damage to my property seen to this issue remains unresolved. I shall report back on this forum, as soon as the repairs have been made.
