Worst Delivery system in the known Universe - dead lemmings can do a better job, and lemmings aren't even real.

Zero stars if I could. Context: Ordered the base on Monday, early morning. Paid online. Get a call from the lady at DaB to confirm delivery is for Tuesday. Confirmed that we would like the delivery at 6PM or as late as convenient. We need to make arrangements to be at home at the time to deliver since we both cannot be home during the day. Dispatch lady to confirms, Tuesday, 18:00, delivery. Everyone happy. Work arrangements are made to leave early on Tuesday. Tuesday, 11:14 AM and a call from +27 60 ********** "We are on our way to you" My response is : "No, you're not, arrangements were made for 18:00, nobody will be able to open for you, come at 18:00". "OK" is the reply. Managed to get home a bit earlier than anticipated. Called the delivery number, goes to voicemail. Get a call-back... Advised that we are home and that if they want to, the can deliver earlier if they'd like. "OK, just FINISHING a delivery and then we will be going to you". Deliver due (in or around 18:00). Started calling for an update: 18:27 - Voicemail 18:28 - Voicemail 18:42 - Voicemail 18:49 - Voicemail 19:04 - Voicemail Let's all understand, that we have unpacked the bedroom to make space, moved out the old base, cleared the area, moved the base into the living area... and we are still waiting...

Not only this!! But the fact that Dial-a-bed is, in fact a SERVICE. The SERVICE is that you PAY for the FACT that you can order online, and FOR A FEE (R350) have the bed delivered. NOT ONLY have the failed in their purported business model (thereby NOT rendering a service they claim to offer), but to NOT deliver (thereby cheating the customer of their money), and NOT doing business , as they claim to do. Breach of Contract: Delivery arrangement NOT MET. Penalties to apply! To SUE for breach of contract (also non-communication, also no support line after-hours) for the amount of the product as well as damages due to loss-of-work due to non-communication as we sat and sat and sat waiting for the PRODUCT.

We are Satisfied with the delivery refund and would definitely consider using them again. This is due to the back-office making a good job of apologizing and dealing with the issue.
