Do not buy from Dail a bed and also not Sealy Skyline X Firm

Dail a bed Brooklyn also trading as Tapestry Home Brands. I bought a bed and bed base set in March /April 2023 from Brooklyn Branch, Pretoria. In June or July I wrote to tell them the bed is sagging and is defective. They sent a Sealy rep to take photo’s. After the rep spent 2 hours in my bedroom taking photo’s he said it would not sag if we turned the bed every 2 weeks. We started doing it. It still sags. We now turn it every 3 days. It sags. I contacted the regional manager, George Ngiri ( Sealy ) and he asked Brooklyn Dail a bed to phone me. They phoned me and said…let’s send the Sealy rep out again to spend another 2 hours and take more photo’s and tell me to turn the bed every day? I have given up on Sealy. Their warrantee means nothing! Do not buy from Dail a Bed and what ever you do, do not buy a R23 K Sealy bed!!!! The Sealy rep also told me that the base set that was delivered was not a Sealy base set but it was sold to me a “ matching the Sealy mattress base set”. When I informed the sales person, Daniel Kgobe about this, he simply said I wanted the grey base set. In the store he sold it to me like it was a Sealy base set and not a no name brand base set. I feel frustrated that Sealy does not honor their guarantee and that Dail a bed offers no resolve other than playing for time so the guarantee can run out.

I was forced to buy a mattress protector so that the guarantee will be valid of R800. If their is no warrantee then why did I have to buy a mattress protector from Dail a bed if I could buy one from another company?
