Conning consumers with demo/shop soiled beds as new beds
We looked online for a new bed about almost but not yet two years ago and tried buying a king koil online from dial a bed but the payment didn't want to work as I had to add them as beneficiary 1st and bank was closed. So ended up at the North gate store Cape Town. Ricky advised me to buy the forty winks for support for the back which I did (Bear in mind it's ONLY myself and Ricky in the store as Sam didn't wait for me she left). You would think when buying a bed you would have a decent guarantee but that's now not the case! Now when the bed is sagging just before the 2 years I get told firstly the matress and base is two different beds and the base only has one year guarantee and the mattress two. Find out today by the lady of Sealy that I bought shop soiled bed according to Sam (Manager at that store)!! That really hit home and ****ed me off!! We did not go to the store to buy a second hand bed that is shop soiled but a new bed!! Paid R8000 for it although I had more cash on me that day but apparently the forty winks base there weren't of. So tonight Mark phones after sending an email about this shop soiled beds we were sold and he says to us that we bought demo and we know about this and what do we expect for R8000 when a new bed is R10 000!!! What a damn chee**** And then he has the audacity to tell us they only selling demos!!! Well I'm NOT leaving it there!! They don't know me!!! They conning people, thinking you buying a damn new bed!! Damn bull****ers, selling second hand/demo/shop soiled beds!!
