Wrong tariff codes
Worst experience ever!
We had a shipment sent from Australia, we provided them with all the necessary information and anything asked for when it came to customs. We were given a fee to pay to customs and we paid it. The shipment was then detained for inspection. Upon inspection customs disagreed with the codes used and charged us a R1500 penalty plus an additional R4000 fee to be paid to customs for the item. When I asked who gave them those codes they stated it was the company in Australia. Upon further investigation we determined they DIDNT give them any codes and that the codes were generated by DHL themselves. I’m now being told to pay a penalty and DHL fee for an ERROR THAT THEY MADE????
I’m beyond annoyed and will NEVER use DHL ever again!
Sisa is rude and couldn’t care less about what he’s doing or who he’s speaking to.
