Why say 2to 4 days delivery when it's a lie
i am disgusted. I sent a small envelope on Monday via DHL to Canberra,Australia.This contains documents for immigration. I was told it would take 2 to 4 days and not more to deliver.i can see via the tracking number that it reached Dubai and never left.This is an extremely serious problem and my documents have to be in Canberra for assessment by Monday.That is why I paid R500 and sent the envelope via DHL.But now reading through these complaints on this site, I can see that DHL has a major service delivery problem.I will escalate my complaint to the highest possible level as this is unacceptable and in terms of the consumer protection act, a breach of contract. Do not say 2 to 4 days if it's not going to happen.My tracking number is ***
DHL Express always quotes customers expected transit times which are based upon our experience and current service levels. We are unable to guarantee these times due to the nature of our service.
Delivery of this shipment is due on the 22/02/2016 which is the 4th working day from the day it was collected. Should there be any delay preventing us from delivering this within the quoted transit time, I will notify you.
