Warning to anyone wanting to use DHL Express: Your parcels may never reach you.

Tracking number: *** I ordered cycling shoes and spares from a UK online store to the value of about R12000, paid the required duties to DHL on the 22 June. The expected delivery date was given as the 25 June. Nothing was delivered on the date so I call DHL who tell me that they will be using RAM couriers. Still nothing by Monday 28 June, so I call DHL every day, and I am promised every day for a week that the parcel is out for delivery tomorrow! Eventually, today (8 July), I am told that the couriers vehicle was hijacked and they are busy investigating. The consultant says I am not covered by insurance for the value of the items! A warning to anyone thinking of using DHL - rather don't. I have wasted time and money with DHL, and they don't care at all!
