Terrible service from DHL

I am so disappointed in DHL for their terrible service and being unhelpful. My package was received by DHL on 13 April in the US. It took 7 business days to arrive in Germany. Then it took 15 business days before arriving in South Africa. The only thing their automated enquiry system said was wait 10 business days past expected delivery date and once that was passed I had to approach the sender. During those 15 days I approached the company who sent me the package and they sent me a replacement because we were convinced the original was lost. It has now been 8 days since it has arrived in South Africa and the status remains "arrived at delivery terminal" for 4 of those days. We are now standing at 30 business days. 1 month and 2 weeks and I still don't have the package. The replacement will likely arrive at the same time as the original because it has take the replacement package 11 business day since collection by DHL to arrival in South Africa. How is it possible for one package to take 9 days to do the same thing the other package took 15 days to do? They give lame excuses like it depends on what shipping your sender chose etc. But all it is, is shoddy service from DHL. It takes less time to go to the moon!
