Terrible service

Sadly I had a terrible experience here trying to ship a package from Vancouver to South Africa. I’ll never use DHL again and I wouldn’t recommend it for international shipping. This DHL branch assured me, after specifically asking them, that they could ship a laptop battery to South Africa. They happily took $225 payment to do so. After weeks of tracking and seeing that the package was still in Vancouver, I phoned DHL only to be told that a battery could not be shipped. They then told me to give the senders address to return the package. Weeks later I am informed that instead of a full refund of what I paid, I am only getting a $91 credit. In other words, this is a loss of $134 that I’ve incurred because I used DHL as a shipper, and they could not carry out what they promised to at the branch.
