TAX INVOICE - Import Duty/Tax Payment
I have imported goods on a number of occasions, shipped by DHL. DHL payment notification is emailed to me accordingly. Online payments were made each time. Goods were received. DHL system works very well up to this point. PROBLEM - DHL DOES NOT SEND OR INCLUDE THEIR TAX INVOICE WITH SHIPMENT. IT IS A BATTLE EACH TIME TO GET DHL TO SEND ME AN TAX INVOICE. BY LAW, AN TAX INVOICE MUST BE PRESENTED WHEN CHARGING VAT.

Please note that COD (Cash Customers ) can request for their Customs documentation from our Import team who will forward it promptly . Our Account Customers have the facility to download their documentation from the online Account portal.
Kindly forward your DHL tracking number and we will forward the documentation required .

They send me Customs documentation but not the Tax Invoice.
The Tax Invoice should automatically be generated and sent when a COD payment is made, as DHL has charged VAT.
Customer should not have to request it.
