****** DHL PARCEL NO FEEDBACK
Good Day,
For an introduction, my parcel had been collected by DHL in pretoria and was meant to be shipped to Durban for next day delivery. The parcel arrived opened and the contents removed.
I have consistently sent them emails regarding this and the ONLY feedback I have been getting is “What contents should be there”.
Numerous emails had been sent to them for resolution and NO feedback has been given. Each day this is taking place since the 16th October 2019.
The Local Tracing Executive ‘Ntombi Zwane’, and Avery Visagie consistently ignoring my calls. When I am transferred to the switchboard, then constantly reply with the people not in office or on break. This is unacceptable because the parcel contents are 25k in value and no feedback or recovery method is in place.
I have been contacting them consistently expecting a reply, I was told it would take 2 hours, which changed to 3 days and now it has become an issue because they are not responding to me.
The contents of the package are still with DHL or if not, ***** has been taken place within your services due to failure in communication, as well as me providing evidence of a before and after picture of the parcel, as well as sizing and condition.
DHL Avery Visagie has still failed to contact me along with my work downtime has come to a stop.
The emails sent included:
There has been several calls being made to you and the response time given is currently not being kept due to your side delaying the issue being occurred. On the 15th October 2019, a parcel was set for collection via payment on credit card. This has been selected as a next day delivery option. The parcel contents included the following: • A MacBook Pro 2017 13" 256GB , valued at R24,999. (Wrapped in newspaper with tape, reason for this is being we assumed the box would be provided) • A charger wrapped in newspaper taped to the newspaper. We have photographic evidence of both the before pictures and after. The driver that had dropped off the parcel was confirmed it to be a very light parcel which then consisting of ONLY cardboard pieces. There is extremely valuable information on that laptop, as well as work required to be done for immediate use urgently. The parcel had only been scanned at 06:37PM on the 15th October, when it had been collected at 03:00PM without the driver scanning it or asking for a signature. This is an urgent parcel and now it has lead to a serious ***** issue, I now have to purchase a new laptop with the same specifications to run working tasks.
