Slow Delivery
I purchased something from Lithuania on the 19/12/2020. The item was shipped on 21/12/2020 through DHL, the shipment arrived in South Africa on 22/12/2020. The shipment is currently at customs at the airport and is undergoing a "physical inspection" ever since and everyday I keep receiving this message: "Tracking number stopped by Customs and is delayed due to accumulated backlog. To save you calling us we will update you accordingly. Thank you DHL Express"... On the 31/12/2020 I received an email from DHL requesting payment for duties and taxes, I done the payment immediately and sent through the proof of payment, I received an email from a DHL representative on Monday stating the proof of payment was forwarded to the customs and will advise when release is made. Till today I am still waiting, I contacted DHL again today (06/01/2020) they told me they will contact customs and ask for feedback and let me know, I am still waiting for feedback!!!! I need my shipment, I am waiting now long enough and this is a matter of urgency! I refuse to pay any further fees a DHL backlog has nothing to with me and I don't think this is right that clients should wait this long! Totally disappointed

I am still waiting for feedback from DHL!!! I'm getting really annoyed as how I have already paid my duties and taxes and my shipment supposed to be released by now, it's been under "physical inspection" for long enough now I don't think there is anything more to inspect! I would appreciate if I can get proper feedback today still!!!!! Highly annoyed with DHL
