Simply cannot deliver

After reserving payment and entering all the relevant collection and drop off details, I was later informed (after the fact) that DHL in fact cannot offer collection in the area I needed a document collected in contrast to what they advertised. The amount of time spent over the phone as well as the fact that it took over 24 hours for them to tell me this has caused huge delays. The service representative, although responsive, was not able to resolve any of the queries I needed. On a second shipment requested at the same time, the courier at the collection point (hotel) left without collecting the order. Nobody can tell me why and the collection number I have on hand is now invalid so DHL cannot pick it up on their system. Furthermore the representative who I was speaking to via email is now not responding. I will likely have to cancel this collection as well and find a competent courier to assist. This is the first time using DHL and I was actually considering opening a business account with them. I don't think I have ever had such a poor experience with a courier. It seems they simply cannot perform. I will update this thread as I try and resolve this with DHL.
