Poor service/ delay from DHL Johannesburg

Recieved the most appaling service from DHL in Johannesburg. I called on Monday 24 May for pick up of a parcel (very very important documents) from my residence, I was advised pickup would be done on Tuesday before 3pm. I took a day off work to facilitate this pickup, at 1.23pm I called again as noone had come through to collect. I was informed that without doubt the documents would be collected between 3pm and 5.30pm.

At 5pm I recieved an email informing me that they tried to call me but I was not available, so not true, I had my phone in my hands the whole day. Today Wednesday 26 May, I am still waiting for an "express" service consultatnt to come through and pick up. I have called DHL again,who have advised that it will be collected today, but why the back and forth yesterday??

I believe the fee I have been charged is ridiculous but was willing to part with the money as DHL is a well known reliable company, but this delay will now cost me a further $253! And all I can do is pray and hope they do come through today.
