Pathetic service

I had an international delivery awaiting customs clearance with DHL. First Of all it took them around 2 weeks to contact me to tell me that the delivery is with them. This also after I queried it with the supplier. I was overseas at the time and according to them they tried to phone me, but no effort was made to reach me via email at all. So they simply left it. Then I get a mail with all the details and amounts to be paid. I had a few questions on the calculations, which went unanswered after 5 mails. I still do not have any response. In the end I decided to just pay it and get done with it, because with their incompetence I didn't want it to get sent to SARS or whatever is done with it because who knows how long that would take to clear. In short, do not use DHL if you have any choice and avoid dealing with Owen at all costs.
